RED CROSS

Mile High Chapter
American Red Cross
444 Sherman St.
Denver, CO 80203
Phone: 303-722-7474

The American Red Cross in Colorado includes five chapters and two service centers located throughout the state. Combined, the American Red Cross Colorado Chapters serve 66 counties and millions of Coloradoans.

There are five Red Cross chapters in Colorado
Mile High Chapter (Denver, San Luis Valley and the Front Range)
Northern Colorado Chapter (Ft. Collins, Greeley, Moffat to Sedgwick)
Western Colorado Chapter (Grand Junction, mountain communities)
Southwest Colorado Chapter (Durango, Cortez, Pagosa Springs)
Pikes Peak Chapter (Colorado Springs, Pueblo, SE Colorado)
The American Red Cross, with its five chapters across Colorado, is not a government agency; it relies on the donations of time, money and resources from individuals in the local community, corporate partners and like-minded foundations to do its work.

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors—across the street, across the country, and across the world—in emergencies. Each year, in communities large and small, people affected by some 70,000 disasters turn to neighbors familiar and new: the more than half a million volunteers and 35,000 employees of the Red Cross.

Through more than 700 locally supported chapters, more than 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes, communities and world.
